MAR routinely produces extensive literature reviews at the start of research projects. Typically, a detailed search plan and review structure is offered for comment and approval by the research partner or client prior to work commencing on a literature review.  Many ICAR literature reviews are published as free-standing documents.

Recent examples of in-depth reviews include

  • ‘A review of quality issues in legal advice: measuring and costing quality in asylum work' for Refugee and Migrant Justice (forthcoming, 2010)

  • ‘Housing, new migration and community relations: A review of the evidence base', for Camelot Foundation (2008)

  • ‘Globalisation, Transnationalism and Diaspora: A policy and literature review' (2008), and ‘Multiculturalism, Citizenship and Identity: a policy and literature review' (2008), both prepared as part of ICAR's Refugee Rights and Responsibilities project.
