Those working on refugee and asylum issues in the UK have often complained of
information black holes and data gaps. At the same time however, the ever greater proliferation of websites and other digitised products means that for those exploring this topic for the first time, or looking for information in a hurry, the experience may now be one of information overload.
This rough guide aims to assist the reader in finding information and to navigate secondary sources of data about UK asylum seekers and refugees. The guide does not aim to be comprehensive, but seeks to provide some useful signposts.
