Digests of relevant publications policy

  • ICAR's digests of relevant publications series summarise reports or publications primarily about refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. Reports covering immigration or ethnic minority issues are sometimes included, as are some relating to practice in Europe and other countries.
  • Reports are selected for inclusion by ICAR staff to be useful for professionals and others interested in asylum and refugees as they affect the UK.
  • The details provided are intended to enable users to decide whether the full publication will be useful for them and if so, how to order the publication. The digests are not intended to make or imply judgement as to the quality of the publication's contents.
  • The publications featured include research reports, policy documents, guidelines, journal articles, books and chapters of books, among others.
  • Digests are indexed by title, author[s], author organisation, publication date, geographical coverage and subject coverage
  • ICAR will provide digests as soon as possible after publication date. Please inform us about recently published reports which might appear on the ICAR website.
  • Authors are able to make comments on a digest of their publication and suggest amendments if they feel that important information has been omitted by contacting ICAR.

ICAR is committed to sharing and disseminating information on refugees and asylum as they affect the UK. If you would like to suggest a publication for inclusion in the digests series or let us know whether the digests meet your information needs, please contact us.
