Links policy
- ICAR seeks to direct users of its website to other information providers accessible through the Internet.
- The links list aims to include single-issue organisations/information providers that focus on the refugee or asylum sector and organisations/information providers whose interests and scope encompass refugee/asylum seeker issues but who do not exclusively devote themselves to this topic.
- Where the homepage of the information provider does not provide an obvious link to pages relevant to ICAR's user group, ICAR attempts to provide direct links to the parts of the website likely to be of interest. Where this has not been possible due to the format of the website, ICAR advises its users to use the search engine of the website concerned to track items of interest.
- The links list is currently indexed by type of information provider, subject and geographical coverage. If a link can be usefully described as belonging under more than one of each of these headings, it will be classified by more than one.
- Inclusion in the ICAR links series does not necessarily imply any judgment as to the quality of the information provided nor endorsement of any viewpoint stated.
