Introduction
This research cluster explores refugees' own experiences of integration and citizenship in the UK in relation to access to support and services and their rights and responsibilities in the UK and elsewhere.
More specifically, this incorporates work on the following topics:
- Service Provision: experiences of access, barriers and exclusion
- Participation: experiences of social, cultural and political participation
- Refugee Community Organisations (RCOs): their role and capacity
- Citizenship: attitudes towards rights and responsibilities, home and belonging
- Transnationalism: links between integration and transnational engagement
