Updated Navigation Guide No.3
UK ASYLUM LAW AND PROCESS
Navigation guides provide an accessible and comprehensive overview on a range of topics relating to refugee and asylum issues in the UK. The guide on asylum law and process has now been updated to reflect recent developments in the areas of policy, legislation and process.
The main focus of the work is UK asylum law and the determination process however information on international and European issues is also provided, especially when it is central to understanding the domestic context.

focUS Microsite Launch
ICAR is delighted to announce the launch of the focUS - connecting futures website. Visit the site to read the story of this participatory video and research project, to view the six short films made by the project's young participants, and to download research and activity ideas.
The site will be of interest to youth & community workers and arts practitioners working with refugees and asylum seekers, to refugee community organisations, teachers, and policy-makers, and, of course, to young people themselves.

Internship Opportunities:
ICAR is seeking to recruit two interns to assist with the Researching Asylum in London (RAL) project.
RAL will be a web resource for researchers, policy makers and service providers in the voluntary and statutory sectors including a comprehensive database of research on refugee and asylum issues in the capital.
We are a small friendly team offering the opportunity to contribute to an exciting new project which we hope will provide valuable knowledge and work experience. We guarantee references at the end of the agreed internship period.
