Dear Viewer,
Welcome to the latest edition of ICAR's newsletter, highlighting our most recent work and website resources.
Researching Asylum in London
ICAR has recently launched the Researching Asylum in London (RAL) website. The website hosts a database of research on refugee and asylum issues relating to London from 1999 onwards and includes a short piece on the history of asylum in London.
All of the research has been summarised to highlight their aims, methodology, key findings, conclusions and/or recommendations. If you are aware of a relevant piece of research that has not been included in the database, you can consult the inclusion criteria or add a resource.

ICAR Assesses Media Project
 |
ICAR has completed an evaluation of a Media Project run by the Hammersmith & Fulham Refugee Forum (HFRF). The project was found to have achieved some notable successes in increasing coverage of refugee activities in the Borough, and in making groups more aware of the role the media can play.
The scheme, whose funding has been extended for a further year by the Commission for Racial Equality, will continue to encourage refugees and asylum seekers to develop their expertise in this area.
For a summay of the evaluation or to learn how ICAR could evaluate you project, contact our Media Officer:
